The Finney pharmacists work in partnership with the Consultants, Resident Medical Officers and nursing staff to ensure a safe, efficient and comprehensive pharmaceutical service. The pharmacy service at Finney Hospital is committed to providing first class pharmaceutical service to patients, nurses and consultants. Staffed by a fully qualified and friendly team of pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians, the work of the pharmacy service encompasses a wide range of activities, including the following:
- Inpatient prescriptions
- Cytotoxic reconstitution
- Drug information & patient advice
- Advice on correct usage of medication
- Over-the-counter sales for non-prescription medicines
- Daily ward rounds
- Discharge medication counselling
Located on the ground floor of the hospital, close to the main reception, our Pharmacists are available for guidance and advice on your medicinal needs.
The main pharmacy which is located on the ground floor of the annex is available to the public and your community pharmacy needs with a comprehensive range of over the counter products for patients and visitors.
